Horrible customer service.
I purchased a CR-V on March 09. A few weeks after the purchase, it started producing a very loud rattling noise every time I started the engine. I took it twice to the Dealership and they couldn't figure out the reason of the noise. The third time they dismantled the engine and "fixed" it. My husband picked it up and a few blocks later the CR-V started blowing smoke and went dead. It was towed and when we talked to the mechanic the next day he treated us very ,very, very disrespectfully.
We asked for a new vehicle or a refund of the purchase price, since the CR-V was just a couple of months old , it had a major engine problem and I didn't feel safe driving it. . The "manager" told me that they couldn't take the vehicle back because they would have to re-sell it at a loss.
In other words, I had to take the loss of a defective product, of the several hours missed at work and several repairs done by other mechanic.
I am not so mad at the vehicle being defective. I am really upset at the manner the whole situation was managed.
I'll never own a Honda again.
