One or More Power Windows May Fail
Electrical & Lights, September 6, 2011
RepairPal Expert Overview
Our Quick Take:
One or more of the power windows may stop working due to a failed switch.
What Should You Do?
Honda will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning September 27, 2011. If you are experiencing problems with your power windows, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It's helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) when you call.
The driver's side power window switch may fail and/or melt. As a result, one or more of the power windows may not work. If the switch were to melt, it will produce smoke and a fire could occur. Dealers will replace the driver's side power window switch to correct this concern. The Honda recall number is R93.
