The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) can misinterpret data from the coolant temperature sensor and set a false Check Engine (MIL) light. The PCM will need a software update for this issue.

The AC condenser failed due to contact with road debris and a lack of protection for the condenser.

The front brake rotors can warp and cause a vibration when braking. The rotors will need to be machined or in cases where they are worn to thin, replaced to correct this issue.

Automatic transmission failures are common, Automatic transmission failure on these vehicles will generally require overhaul or replacement of the transmission. In the event of a  failure, it may be worthwhile to check with Honda to see if they may offer assistance for this repair. As these vehicles age, Honda has become less likely to help out with these transmission related repairs.

The ABS modulator (hydraulic unit) can leak air into the brake system and cause a low brake pedal. A new ABS modulator will be needed if it is diagnosed to be the source of the leak.

A chirping noise coming from the timing belt area can be caused by a misaligned, or tilted idler pulley.

Plugged moon roof drains can cause a water leak inside the car. The water will usually leak onto the driver's or passenger's head when the car turns a corner.

Engine hesitated while accelerating from a stop. The check engine light (CEL) came on immediately. Autozone pulled the code of P2647. I replaced the oil pressure switch (37250-PNE-G01) and the o-ring (91319-PAA-A01).

The driver's door latch assembly can break internally, which causes the door to stay closed. The interior and exterior door handles do not work to open the door. Our technicians note that the door panel must be removed while the door is closed (likely damage will occur) and the latch assembly must be drilled in a specific spot for the door to open.

The air/fuel sensor, located in the exhaust system, may be damaged by moisture in the exhaust resulting in illumination of the Check Engine Light. Replacing the damaged air/fuel sensor and updating the powertrain control module (PCM) software should correct this concern.

Front compliance (lower control arm ) bushings tend to crack and break requiring replacement.

The radio and climate control display can go dark on some models. It will be necessary to replace the affected unit to correct this concern. Some customers have reported receiving help from Honda regarding this repair.

Some models have shift quality problems when shifting into third gear. A new "third gear set" from Honda will address this issue.

The green plastic stay that secures the door handle release cable can break leaving you unable to open your door from the inside. Cheap fix if you replace it yourself... $15

Overhead sunglass holder will not open/glasses stuck inside.can't shake it loose to open.
