I moved to the Fort Hunt area five years ago and started buying fuel at Hollin Hall Automotive. I had HHA perform an oil change on my Toyota Landcruiser then as well. I was impressed with both the service and the price. Since then, HHA has been servicing all of my cars including an Audi A8L, a Ford Excursion and my pride a joy -- a vintage Mercedes Benz 3.5 coupe. Everyone I deal with at HHA has been exceptional -- from the owner Tom to Mark and James in the service office to my favorite mechanic Kevin. I know in the repair business, often the news about a vehicle isn't good, but they've always been fair, honest and transparent. I can't ask for much more than that! I highly recommend Hollin Hall Automotive.
I am responding to a review posted by the Potomac Reaper on April 7, 2015! His review is not factual and is defamatory. He brought his vehicle in because the electrical functions of his rear view mirror were not displaying. The technician had to trace the wiring behind the dash which included removing components to gain access. The technician spent an hour and a half diagnosing the problem to a loose connection behind the dash and made the repair.
The customer was charged accordingly for the diagnostic time and repair. The whole process was communicated to the customer so that he clearly understood that he was NOT being charged $224 for a "loose wire"! Additionally, his remark about James Allen leaving our employment and "integrity leaving with him" is defamatory as James Allen never worked on his vehicle in the past. In fact, the same technician has done all the repairs on this vehicle. We tried to contact the customer but he refuses to call us back! We have been in business for over 50 years, have a stellar reputation, and pride ourselves on our Integrity!
