As a long time customer of Hillmuth everything worked out as expected. I will continue to use them as long as I have a car.

Dave did a great job on my car. I had a slow leak in my passenger rear tire; a small screw was in it.

without the oil change coupons, I feel the price for your oil changes are way too high, That used to be your loss leader without that, I need to look at other options until you decide on reducing your oil change cost. I have received multiple coupons for AutoStream that just opened close to me and they offer a VIP card for reduced oil changes. for now, I plan to give them a try. You need to bring back the 5 oil change coupon at least to you loyal older customers.
I have taken my cars to Hillmuth for several years and have always been very satisfied with their service. The most recent experience was just a routing oil change/tire rotation, but as always, the service was excellent.

I've had tire work done at Hillmuth before, and I was very happy. This time, I had a leak in the tire. I ended up having to go back a second time because it kept leaking after the first visit. But they got it done very quickly the second time. Sami was very courteous and professional. My wife ended up going in for a tire issue the very next day, and they got everything fixed for her. I had a MD inspection. Tires had to be purchased and mounted to pass along with an alignment and a bulb.
I went to Hillmuth for a second opinion on work recommended by a Lexus dealership. Not only did they have a different opinion on what was needed, but the bid for their work was significantly less than the dealership. The Gaithersburg team was very friendly, trustworthy and professional. I had Hillmuth do the work they recommended and I'm very happy with the outcome. I'll be going to them for all future service work!
The service writer was vary nice, so was the guy that drop me off and picked me up.

They all have welcoming personalities but they charge an insane amount. I only found out after paying that they had overcharged me. The dealership for my car said they would've done it for less and with OEM parts. So I paid more money for worse parts from Hillmuth. They are nice people but after finding out that they basically conned me, i think its safe to assume that they don't respect their customers.
Took care in for routine oil change and 75k checkup. Found a few minor issues and got the car back the same day and is running better than when I dropped off. I feel very comfortable that Hillmuth will keep my 2010 Rav4 running like new for many years to come.

I have been taking my cars there for almost 20 years and have always had a great experience. The talk to you like a person and not a mechanic so that it is understood for the repairs that needs to be performed on your vehicle. I will always have my vehicles serviced at Hillmuth unless something drastically change, meaning service, pricing, etc.

The associate was very dishonest with me and tried to swindle/con me out of $1700 of service that could have been done for free under my 5 year 100k factory warranty. I took my car in for an engine sound and mentioned that it may be covered by my 100,000 mile warranty. He told me he called Chrysler and they told him it was not covered because my warranty was 5 year 60k and I was at 61k miles and they would charge more than his $1700 quote. I called the dealership and they informed me that it was covered and it would be free because I was covered up until 100k miles. I called the Hillmuth rep on three way and his story changed. He informed the dealership rep and me that he said the warranty doesn't work with him but he would do the work for me for a discounted price but if I wanted it done by Chrysler, I would have to go there to get it done. I asked him why did his story change. He told me he thought I just preferred Hillmuth to do it. He never called Chrysler to check anything and tried to lie about the call and our conversation. BAD BUSINESS ETHICS... I basically paid $85 for him to confirm the problem I said I was having with my car and for him to lie to me to get more money.
First of all,I would like to state that our company has been in business for 36 plus years. You do not reach that level by having "BAD BUSINESS ETHICS".We value every sale as would any business ,but not at the expense of our reputation. Whenever there is a possibility of any manufacturer warranty coverage we always try to get that info by calling the dealer ourselves for the customer. When there is warranty coverage left we always urge our clients to use it so there will be no expense to them. We are only able to go with information provided to us by the dealer.Sometime it may not be correct information. Again, we always try to have our clients best interests at heart.
