Hard for me to say how good the work is but - once they fix something, it seems to stay fixed. And I do believe they're upfront with me regarding whatever problem or service my car has/is getting - I don't feel bamboozled or walk out with question marks above my head. This is the second time I have taken my car to Hillmuth in Columbia. I am always treated nicely and with respect. I waited at the shop for the oil to be changed, and my only negative review was that it took about 20-25 minutes longer than what was estimated.

The get my car in when I need, asked for a loaner and was able to use one, which was a big help, they don't try to sell me service I don't need even when I ask about a what I think may be a problem.

The mechanics are very friendly and just very honest and very helpful in every way. They have integrity and they are just really good men. Personality-wise, you can talk to them and they understand your problems, you can relate to them very well, as a person and a mechanic, they are easy to talk to. They are not trying to take advantage of you, there is nothing hidden, no hidden fees, nothing ever comes up with me.
I just think that they are very pleasant to deal with and I think that they are trustworthy and know what they're doing, and they don't pressure you. There was a pin hole and they said "You don't need to get it fixed, if you see fluid call", I saw fluid, I called, they fixed it. I really like working with them because I know nothing about cars.
It seems to be expensive. I think they are getting to be a little bit more expensive. Well, it just seems as though their pricing for repairs is getting to be, at an hourly wage, is getting to be a little bit higher than I think it should. They are starting to kind of out price theirselves a little bit I think. They are becoming increasingly more expensive, percentage-wise I guess, I'm not sure how to say they are more expensive than other people, but it just seems like their per hour rate is getting to be a little bit higher than anticipated when you take the car in. They never give anything for free, never that they can just run a diagnostic and let you know what is going on, you have to pay for everything, which sometimes is a little frustrating.
They're very warm, friendly, down home people. I could talk to those guys just like I would talk to you, or my friends or my mother, so it's just guys next door that are trying to help your car run smoothly, that's the feeling. Regardless, they have great service, so you get people that work for your company, that's definitely a happy customer, because I get to talk to those guys regardless of what my car is doing.
Very reliable and very timely and have your repairs done. They are very friendly and very courteous, they explain to you what is being done, give you a good explanation of the work being done on your vehicle.
I think they're more expensive. They cost a lot more to do everything, as opposed to their competition.

They're very professional, they gave me a rental car for the day when they were doing the repairs and they explained everything they did to me beforehand, so I understood what the charges were.
I always feel like Scott and Stan take excellent care of me and their technicians are really great. They are trained, I trust what they say needs to be done needs to be done and I don't have to go back with fixes.
I have been using them for probably fifteen years now and I have been very satisfied with the work that they do, as well as the speed at which they get it done. The work is generally done quickly and most times I get the vehicle back early. They are very accommodating to my schedule for example, this last time the repair work was done on a Saturday. They are able to even take my vehicles in, when there is an emergency, quickly. They keep me very well informed as the work progresses, they call me constantly.
I've been to numerous shops before and, well I'm sixty-nine years old and I have quite a bit of experience with taking my cars to various shops (I have two Mercedes' and one Lincoln). My lincoln is twenty-seven years old and they do an outstanding job of helping me to keep it going. I would highly recommend them and the only one I have been to is the one here in Columbia. I have a 1995 Mercedes Benz S-420, when it's scheduled to be serviced I will definitely take it to the shop in Columbia, and my wife has a 1999 E-320 and I had the E-320 there to be repaired and they did a great job, they are reasonably priced and as a matter of fact, my Lincoln is in there now. This Lincoln is a 1985 Lincoln and it's in the shop now because it needed some repairs, like I said she's twenty-seven years, so it's beginning to break, various parts going up on me, but I am really really pleased that I have a reliable shop that is customer friendly and extremely good. Those guys, I just can't say enough about them, they're just a great group of guys over there. To sum it up I would just categorize it as a pleasent experience to do business with them.
The staff is highly professional and very courteous. I have been a customer of theirs since 1998. They take the time to explain what the problem is and what the solution is and they always give you an option of deferring to a later date.
