1990 Pontiac Grand Am140,000
Power steering pump started making terrible noise and it was difficult to steer. Had it checked, low on fluid, mechanic recommended a stop leak. Helped briefly. Then it got to the point that fluid was leaking out as fast as I poured it in. Finally took to another garage, it was vacuum compression hose that was leaking. $250 to fix.
