2008 Nissan Rogue Question: High pitched chirping sound when driving and idle any thoughts?

Car only has approx 37k.

    It is still possible for a part to go bad. Listen in the engine bay you maybe able to hear the tensioner or an idler pulley making the noise. In either case I suspect that your vehicle may still be under warranty which could get it taken care of by the dealer.

    Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. Any thoughts on how much that type of repair/replacement might run?

    debris could have blown into your air vents during storms. Check to see if turning off your air vents stops the noise. If this is the case, time will eventually cause it to stop
