My 2013 Toyota Sienna got this p2103 issue with 150 miles on Odometer.
I was about enter highway entrance and the fault light switched on and pressing gas pedal would not increase speed beyond 20 or 30 mph
My family could have died if I were at the entry point of toll way; it happened about 300 meters before entry point and I got lucky to find a side way to stop. Every time I may not be lucky if this happens while in the middle lane of toll way or high way.

I requested life time warranty on this error to which Toyota was evasive. So, under 'lemon law of Texas' I am going to initiate return procedure of my vehicle. If/ when this error occurs, they will change computer model but that can't prevent any future errors( unintended slow down) because of a design flaw.

This error in a new Toyota Sienna 2013 makes it most unsafe minivan and I would not recommend it to any one.Toyota's customer support is horrible as they didn't offer any technical explanation of the reasoning behind their design logic. Under no circumstances, the computer should override human action of pressing gas pedal.
