2006 Ford Expedition Question: hesitation at low speed acceleration - no chk eng light

Well, we have been having a hesitation at low speed from start where it feels like it's losing power and then fluctuates unless you give it a lot of gas. There is no check engine light that comes on and I've already looked at the air filter and replaced the fuel filter. Can this be the MAF sensor even without a light? Any ideas?

    Try having the MAF cleaned first

    I cleaned the MAF with still no luck...maybe clogged fuel injectors?

    I'm having the same problem with my 2005 Expedition. The hesitation happens at 45-50 mph. I can back off the gas and rapidly accelerate through 50 mph and the misfiring doesn't occur. I have been told it could be spark plugs, a bad coil (tested, not bad), and fuel injector. Haven't fixed anything yet because I don't know where to start.
