Hello- can an a/c compressor failure cause warm air 2 blow out of one vent side? on 2002 Jaguar X-Type

warm air blows out of the left side of the AC vents.. and I was wondering if a compressor failure could be the sole cause of this occurrence..

No. If the compressor was bad it would blow warm out of all vents. It is more likely a vent control problem. I don't know if Jaguar uses electrical power or vacuum for vent operation.

Thank you so much for your response. Vent control issue you say? could this also have anything to do with a blend door issue? this issue started right after I took my A/C for a recharge even though it had no prior problems up to that point.. so Ive been a bit confused about the nature of the issue and my mechanic seems lost on it as well.
