2001 Chevrolet Blazer Question: Hello-2001 Chevy Blazer and had replaced the fuel pump 2x now it happened again?

Hello-2001 Chevy Blazer and had replaced the fuel pump 2x and noticed the wires are overheating in the top cap and i checked the other 2 as I save parts have the same problem now it has to be fixed again and I'm worried it could cause a fire while driving my kids around-Anyone know why or how I can fix it or if there is some kind of recall on it? Did new pump come with updated wire connector and if so did you install it. -

yes all was put in but the connector on the top of the fuel pump assembly melted on 1 of the 4 prongs inside and now it wont start -

Heat comes from hi resistance, hi resist. comes from poor connections! Sounds like you need a new pump and partial harness with connector. Look close at terminal that melted, find out which one it is and what it does and check that circuit. -
