Improper HVAC Temperature and/or Air Delivery Due to Failed Mode Door Actuator on Chevrolet Silverado 2500

One or more heater & AC (HVAC) air delivery and/or temperature mode door actuator may fail. This can result in incorrect air delivery or temperature. If this occurs, fault code(s) stored in the HVAC control module should be available to assist with diagnoses.

driver side will start blowing hot air when running AC. and will do just the opposite when running heat. passenger side works fine. you can shut off the truck and restart it and it temporarily corrects the problem.
2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 109,000 mi,
Upon starting the truck, the mode door seems to cycle from floor to dash to defrost and stays at defrost regardless of switch position. Started IMMEDIATELY after replacing blower moron resistor. Have tried pulling the fuse for various lengths of time, turning off the ac when it gets to the dash position. All to no avail.
all air conditioning and heating is directed thru the defrost vents only. I have not yet had it repaired
