Improper HVAC Temperature and/or Air Delivery Due to Failed Mode Door Actuator on GMC Sierra 3500

One or more heater & AC (HVAC) temperature and/or air delivery mode door actuator may fail, resulting in improper temperature or air delivery. If this occurs, fault code(s) should be stored in the HVAC control module which should assist in diagnoses.

A/C sending hot air. This just happen could not cool. We turned engine off for 20 minutes or so, upon restart we had cool air again. What needs to be done to repair the problem? Still gets plenty warm in Tucson in the fall month, still need A/C. Thank you for your time. Norma R. Tucson,z
