Heather Fan? on 2000 BMW 323Ci

Heather fan speed can not be adjusted. It automatically goes on high speed every time I start the car and it can be turned off just manually, but when I turn fan on it goes again to maximum/high speed. My car has digital climate control so if you could please respond and help me fix it I would appreciated. Gratefully: Silvana

Silvana, The heater fan generally is controlled by the climate control module and a blower motor resistor. One of these are likely defective, but you should have it diagnosed by a shop to make sure the correct part is replaced. These electronic systems can be tricky, so go to a shop that specializes in BMW's. I suggest looking for a Bosch certified repair shop as well.
