Question: heater will not turn off, what could this be?

when switching the heater control to off position, the light turn off on the panel, but the heater it sel does not.

    If you have automatic temp controls the air temp sensor could be bad. Try turning the temp down all the way to cold and see if it goes off. If you have manual temp controls its probably the controler meaning the switch assembly.
