i have a 97 dodge 1500 5.9 4x4 xtra cab that the heater isn't working. i have flushed the heater core, changed the thermostat to no avail. however i have noticed the antifreeze in the radiator is not warming to the touch. starting to think i have a water flow somewhere else. weird part is the truck is not overheating.

Just a thought - if you serviced your heater core, thermostat and so on recently, you may still have an air pocket in your cooling system that is not allowing you to get heat. Have you purged the air already?
The heater on my 1997 Dodge Ram is not blowing hot air. It takes a long time to warm up in our Michigan winters and never gets very hot. Not sure if it's the thermostat and maybe needs a radiator...
im having trouble getting hot air coming out when switch is on heat, both hoses are hot i already blew through the heater core with 90 psi air and thats clear hmm what next
my heater blows luke warm.I replaced the thermostat with a 195 degree but still no heat.
Where is the heater control valve on a 1999 dodge ram 1500
