1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Q&A
1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Question: heater problem
i have a 97 dodge 1500 5.9 4x4 xtra cab that the heater isn't working. i have flushed the heater core, changed the thermostat to no avail. however i have noticed the antifreeze in the radiator is not warming to the touch. starting to think i have a water flow somewhere else. weird part is the truck is not overheating. - thehardrock33
Just a thought - if you serviced your heater core, thermostat and so on recently, you may still have an air pocket in your cooling system that is not allowing you to get heat. Have you purged the air already? - DaveJHM
