2002 Audi A4 Quattro Q&A

2002 Audi A4 Quattro Question: heater problem

my audi a4 temp gauge is getting to normal range but the heater never gets hot no matter what the temp is set at in the car i know it could only be a few things but was hoping to narrow it down. -
Answer 1
is the coolant low? do the hoses to the heater core get hot? if not, could be a flow problem. ever put stop leak crap in, could be plugged. have coolant work done recently, could be air bound. the temp flap motor should be checked using a diagnostic tester to make sure the flaps go to the "hot" setting. -
