Heater not working on 2003 Honda Element

the radiator is full but the heater is not working

Check the heater core. Not an easy replacement.

The thermostat maybe stuck open just enough that the coolant doesn't get a chance to warm up to operating temp. of approximately 185 degrees. Typically the simplest thing is the cause.

heater worked great all winter. Today in the early morn I turned it on to take off the chill and it just pumped air at the ambient air temperature. The air conditioner works fine.
initially the heater gives warm air,but after few seconds it starts giving normal air. i got it checked , the pipe coming from radiator is hot but the other pipe is normal. i guess the hot coolan...
What would cause my car to stop heating? It only has 26,500 miles on it. The fan seems to work fine but the inside never gets warm.
Was advised to do so by a good mec after failure to track down any obvious leaks and all seals and hoses have been replaced.heater core has also been proven to work properly.
