heater fan on 2005 Toyota Tacoma

loud squeal from heater fan. Not every time but quite often, Will go away when fan is left run for awhile. Is there a way to lubricate the fan bearing or bushing.

From the looks of the diagrams I have, it looks as if you could get the blower motor out from under the passenger's side of the heater/ventilatin enclosure. If so, it may be possible to lubricate the motor bushings and stop the squeal. I've done it many times. Get the motor/impeller out, find a vent hole in the motor housing to get a needle oiler into and lube the bearing where the shaft goes through. There's an upper and lower bushing. Go for it. Don't overdo it..
