Heater doesn't heat. on 2004 Honda Element

What would cause my car to stop heating? It only has 26,500 miles on it. The fan seems to work fine but the inside never gets warm.

First check the basics, low coolant level can result in poor heater operation. Honda have a Service Bulletin stating the heater cable frequently detaches from the heater control valve which is located on the firewall/rear of the engine compartment. They suggest reattaching the cable and slipping a small piece of tubing on top off the reatached cable loop to prevent it falling off again, should take 5 minutes if this is whats wrong.
