Question: heater core replacement

Question

Visitor, Gasoline, Newnan, GA, October 18, 2010, 15:32

I just had the instrument cluster replaced and now am told the heater core needs replacing. Could this possibly make the new instrument cluster malfunction?

Not unless it is spraying the cluster or its electrical connections with coolant. Please keep in ming that the vapors from antifreeze are toxic and you should not breath them- driving a car with a bad core could expose you to health risks! Greg
