How much of the dash has to be removed to remove and replace the heater core? I have already removed the lower center console. The upper center console curls under the heater core cover not allowing it to come down to get access to the heater core. Does the upper center console need to be removed or is it even seperate of the main dash?

I have all the dash components removed and the covers loose. The problem is the upper center console curls under the dash (about three inches under the heater core cover) and will not allow the cover to come down. Until I get the upper center console out of the way, I see no way to get the heater core cover out.
