1997 Ford Explorer Q&A

1997 Ford Explorer Question: heater control knob

every thing else checks out fine could the problem with not getting any heat be the hot / cold knob on dash? -
Answer 1
It is possible that the heater control knob on the dash of your 1997 Ford Explorer is damaged and not turning the shaft in the control head when turning the knob. Pull gently on the knob to see if it will come off the shaft. If it comes off look inside the back to see if it is damaged and also try turning the metal shaft on the control head without the knob attached to see if the temperature changes. -
