Heater blowing cold air. on 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Can not get hot air from heater even though temp guage reads normal.

That is usually a flow problem, air flow or coolant flow with multiple possible causes for each problem such as a restricted heater core or temperature blend door actuator.
