  4 bolts ususally go to www.autozone.com sign up for free, and follow the repair guiide for your model and engine, most of the time its an easy swap

  www.autozone.com doesn't have repair manuals for VW Beetle.

  On a 1999 Beetle you have to remove the glove box. Then at the bottom of the blower, two screws hold the bottom plate on, remove them and the blower will slip down. You may have to gently pull the front brace out so the blower will pass. reinstall. Not to bad, about an hour for those who are learning as they go like me.

• heater defrost AC fan doesn't come on
  heater/ defrost/ AC fan doesn't come on. I checked fuse and it was fine but I replaced it anyway fan still doesn't come on.
