1996 Pontiac Grand Am Q&A

1996 Pontiac Grand Am Question: Heater blower motor.

The "cage" on the blower motor sounds like it's rubbing on something or somthing has gotten into the housing causing the rub. How do I get at the blower motor? There is'nt alot of room in the in engine compartment. I see an indent in the blower covering that states to cut here. -
Answer 1
The blower motor comes out from under the passenger side of the dash. Remove the sound insulator and you should see the round blower motor. The screws around the outside edge hold the blower motor into the housing. -
