2002 Honda Civic Question: Heater and Air condition blower

Visitor, 1.7L 4 Cylinder, Johnson City, NY, March 22, 2010, 07:14

The heater and Air Condition blower suddenly shut off one day and will not work anymore. When I turn on the A/C nothing happens and no air is coming out of the vents. Also when I turn on the heater the blower quit working but warm air does seep out of the vents. Is this a heater module problem and if so does it control the A/C too? thank you for your help, Chuck

    Blower fuse, Blower Control Module, Blower Switch, Blower Motor...take your pick. Without diagnosing who can say.

    COULD IT BE A BELT? MY ELEMENT DID THE SAME THING. IT WAS WORKING FINE AND JUST QUIT. ON OCCASION A NOISE WOULD OCCUR WHICH SOUNDED LIKE A BELT NOISE BUT WOULD STOP BY TURNIING OFF THE BLOWER AND THEN TURNING IT BACK ON. BOTH THE AC AND HEAT BLOWER STOPPED WORKING WHILE THE CAR WAS TEMPORARILY STOPPED AND IN PARK. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE COST OF REPAIRING EACH OF THESE THINGS LISTED IN THIS ANSWER?
