I had to replace the main heater hose because of a leak. Now the heater does't work. It blows ok but not hot air.

I don't think it was repaired by a BMW specialty shop. I know a heater hose replacement shouldn't be a big deal, but most general repair shop doesn't know how to bleed it correctly and they usually use wrong coolant also.
If you used the heater just a little while before the hose replacement and it was working correctly I guess the cooling system wasn't bled correctly and there is still air in the system.
The heater control should be set to MAX HEAT and the fan should be at the LOW setting when the shop bleeds the system. The RPM has to be raised to around 2500.
Make sure the coolant is the OE blue BMW antifreeze and NOT the regular green or any other non-approved.
