 Rookie

I have a 1998 BMW 740i and my problem is when I turn the car on it takes a very long time for the heater to start working. Then when it works it also stops and blows cold air.. need to fix, Help!!

  It sounds like you may have a couple problems, but I have a few ideas. Check the coolant level and adjust as necessary. If your engine is not reaching normal operating temperature, or it is taking a long time to do so, then you need to have the thermostat replaced.
