Heat does not work on 2004 Toyota Avalon

The heater only blows cold air. A/C works fine...2004 Avalon has 109,000 miles...any thoughts on what is wrong and is this generally an expensive job?

first make sure your motor is running at the right temp.make sure the coolant level is full.if there all ok then things can get pricey to hunt down and fix this concern.
