Question: headlights cut off and had to hold the switch while driving.whats wrong?

 Rookie

i was driving and my headlights cut off. i turned them back on but the switch didn't hold. i had to drive and hold the switch at the same time. sometimes it stays sometimes it doesn't.

    sounds like possible the internal part of the switch is falling apart

    It is a bad headlight switch. If you are low on funds you can use a very small knive. Slide it on either side till the lights stay on.
