Headlights on 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

On a couple of occassions my headlights have quit. When I hit the dimmer switch they come back on. Is this in the switch or something else?

Since the dimmer is part of the headlight switch I would say that it's a good chance that's your problem. You can try pulling out the switch, leave it connected to the wiring and wiggle the wiring and connector and make sure they are OK.

It is probably the multi function switch. The same thing happened to me and it cost me almost $800 to fix it.

You may be accidentally hitting the interior light over-ride button 2-4 times. By doing this, it will turn your head lights off.
