Headlights on 1998 Chevrolet 1500 Pickup

I have DRL but no headlights if I turn the switch I get parking lights but that is it no lo or hi beams any ideas

Customer Concern: The low beam headlamps are inoperative. Tests/Procedures: Pin test for power, out of the dimmer switch, on the Tan wire. If okay, pin test at the DRL relay. Power should be coming in on the Purple wire and out on the Tan wire. If okay going in, but not coming out, it has bad contacts in the relay Potential Causes: Malfunctioning Connection Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) Relay Dimmer Switch Defective Wiring Tech Tips: The DRL relay is next to the hazard flasher on the convenience center.
