Question: headlight plugs/pigtail burn and melt

In the last 2 months 4 headlight plugs have burned/melted out,two on each side. The headlight itself is alright and not burned out. Seemsto be common problem with GM. Any ideas on how to stop this. Dealership says they have never heard of such a thing. Must be moister.They say just replace socket and pigtail and be good to go.

    I looked this up on IATN ( International Automotive Technicians Network ) and if you are not using absolutely stock, OEM factory bulbs bulbs and are using Xenon bulbs, this will happen. hope that his sheds some light ( no pun intended )
