are the two screws around the head light what you remove to replace the whole lamp?

    I think not. I think you're seeing the adjustment screws. Don't mess with those. The headlight is held in by a metal bracket that screws to the headlight bucket, usually with 4 screws. You probably need to take off the trim to see the headlight mounting bracket and screws.
