Head Gasket replacement on 1994 Chrysler LeBaron

I received an estimate of 500-850 for a head gasket job on our 1994 Chrysler Lebaron, is that estimate to replace both head gaskets or one?

remember, an estimate is only an estimate, not an invoice. when you disassemble a motor, there are so many other things you can find that will add to the cost, such as a cracked head. after the repair, you still need to find the reason the head gasket blew. without finding that, the same thing can occur again. I believe 800 is a starting point and could add up very quickly. Roy

The cost of the repair will cost more than the car is worth.
