Blow a fuse couple days ago replaced no problem . Started fine this morning drove fine parked it . Went to start have no throttle power or gages. I have checked all fuses all fine . But stranded on job site .

2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty Question: Have no throttle or gages can any one help a lady out?
Need more info to try and help you. What engine size? (Gas or Diesel). Do you know what # fuse and amp size. You say no throttle power....does this this mean the engine will start and run but you have no power to accellerate RPMs?

These have a common problem with shorted wiring in steering column. Have found the wiring to the overdrive cancel switch shorting out in the column. These wires are Red/Yellow (from the fuse), Tan/White and White/Light Green on the harness side of the connector. It is quite common for a short to occur in these wires due to repeated movement of the shift lever.

wires look fine got power going to fuse box #35 instrument cluster 10a has blown 2 times now in 2 days when i put in reverse got power to fuse box but not going through fuses # 35 #27 ignition switch run feed,# 4 power point . My baby needs to get back on the road .

Make sure you removed covers of steering column to inspect the wires if you have not already. The Central Junction Box could also be the problem.
Below is the way to detrmine if its bad.
1. Access the C270a connector of the CJB and check for power out of the CJB at terminal 8 of the connector which is the RD/YE wire feeding the APP sensor and cluster with the key in the run position.
C270a is a 24-terminal black connector of the cluster.
2. If there is no power on this circuit with power present at fuse 45, inspect the terminal of the connector to determine if there is a contact problem with the male pin of the CJB or if the wire is potentially broken in its contact to the terminal in the connector.
3. If the connector and terminal look to be OK, replace the CJB.
4. If power is found to be present on the RD/YE wire at the C270a connector, install a jumper between the circuit at this connection and run a patch wire to the RD/YE wire of the APP sensor to bypass the open in the circuit. If necessary, a patch circuit may also need to be run to the cluster connection.

sounds like wire harness problem or central juntion box...one code is dealing with throttle actuator system and the other is a alternator circuit problem that probaly goes with the guages not working.

Possible open fuse link. Does it have power adjust pedals? If so poss. throttle pedal position sensor circuit!

the problem is the shift lever. it has the wires running through it for the overdrive switch. they chaffe at the tube where they come out. replace shift lever and fuse. should take care of it.

I am having the same problem I've installed a new shifter and all fuses are good but gauges still not working and neither is the throttle any suggestions?
