I want to report a "jump" in transmission when I am breaking and barely moving. It has happened three times now. The car lurches forward just a tiny bit. I tried to see if it was possible for my foot to be on the gas as well as the break and it is not. I only use my right foot for both.

What is the tachometer doing when it surges? Are the RPMs going up , or do they stay the same? Need to have a shop test drive it with symptom present to determine if it is engine or trans. problem. Is the check engine light on or did you ever notice the 'D' light flashing when symptom occurs?

did not notice tach increase....def no check engine light coming on and no "D" light flash. It happens so quickly and it has happened 3 times in the course of 9 months. So not regular enough for a test drive...just was wondering if problem came up with other Honda owners or if there was a recall I missed. Thanks for taking the time with this. Kat
