what part of the exhaust is holding on to the transmission?
COMMENT by , May 14, 2013
there is an arm going thru a bushing on the passenger side of the transmission that is holding it from coming loose.

the exh is not hooked to trans unless maybe a support bracket

It is a support brkt but is it necessary? I trying to avoid dropping the whole exh if I don't have to but there is not a bolt holding it on.

Agree with 1&2, cant you remove the trans.mount bolts to free this bracket? I have never seen a exhaust hanger that was an integral part of the transmission!
