2001 Ford Escape Question: Has anyone ever had a warped intake manifold?

Driley, 3.0L V6, Columbus, OH, January 20, 2013, 04:13

I have replaced the O rings between the upper manifold before and when I took it apart the last tine there was fuel outside the area where the O rings were on # 2 and #5 cylinders.

    not unless it overheated.

    ford has new style o rings for this. tightening sequence is important for proper sealing

    Thanks Roy, The fact that Ford has a new style of O rings tells me Two things. One; There was problem with the old ones. Two; Maybe Felpro is still putting out the old style.
