Has anyone else had a problem with premature rusting? on 2012 Hyundai Elantra

At least two stone chips in the paint on the hood have resulted in bubbled paint and rust. Rust has also erupted near on headlight, with no evidence of a nick or chip.

Hi, your question is long ago. But I am confronted with the same problem since one year. The car started to rust all over the place at 1 year old. Also made bubbles. And the dealer turned me away and said it is not covered by rust warranty, because they are rock chips. I am sure they are no rock chips. That looks like more like an old car were the rust is coming through underneath the color. I know that rock chips are first white spots from the color underneath and they take a long time until they strt to rust. It seems there is no undercoating at that car? If you found some solution in the meantime, let me know. Also I found that the car uses way more fuel than it should. Really frustrating. I got turned away for that, too.
