Question: Hard to change gear into drive a; drives in park instead of drive gear.

Can not drive van in drive gear, but in the park gear. Hard to shift the handle into gears.

    My initial thought is that you have a shifter linkage issue. But I would want to confirm and repair that and recheck; hopefully no internal transmission issue exists.
