Could be the ignition system--spark plugs, or the wires. If these parts have never been replaced, some of them may just be worn and due for replacement. You'd need a professional to inspect and diagnose to be sure, though. - matte
I had the same problem with my 2000 300 and my mechanic fixed it by putting a new fuel pump in it. He said that there was a pressure valve in the pump that was allowing fuel to leak back in to the tank instead of keeping pressure in the fuel lines as it was parked. - Visitor
