Making my way from San Jose to Macon, I'm toodling along the Selma/Montgomery highway 80 and my car's engine just shuts off- 30 miles from nowhere (don't tell local residents I said that), I check the most obvious things and pull out my REPAIR PAL APP. Luckily, there's a little phone coverage and I try a few recommended joints in Montgomery. Haigler's Automotive sounds by far the best, Emily on the phone sounds like she knows what's going on and another guy picks up and gives me the name and number of a great towing company, as well as the location of a great Motel 6 nearby.
HAIGLER's was genuinely friendly, helpful and conscientious. Most certainly, their experience in ALL VEHICLES wince 1928 or so won me over. And I wasn't disappointed.
Emily kept me apprised of diagnostics, prognosis and parts ordered and prices. She always quoted me total price, including taxes, which is really great.
The shop is loaded with great tools and lots of great real mechanics- the old style guys that know cars because they grew up playing with them, rebuilding them, torquing them. There are no new school mechanics who want to just read a computer error and sell you a new engine. You can tell they love what they do.
They did a great job, came in at exactly the price quoted and delivered my car back ready to hit the road and finish my trip.
A FULL 5 STARS AND ALL THUMBS UP!!
