Question: had complete brake job, service 4 wheel drive light stays on

switch on dash does not iluminate anymore and does not put you into 4 wheel drive

    Was that light on before the brake service? Did you have brakes done thinking that was going to make the light go off?
    If the light is on, a diagnostic check needs to be done to determine what is wrong with the four wheel drive system.

    4 wheel drive was working fine the mechanic said after he changed out the master cylinder there was some fluid seepage so he washed the area down with a cleaning solution then with water.thoughts. are there any contacts or fuses in that area that would cause the 4wd to fail. diagnostic check says 4wd not responding to command.
