HAD A FUEL PUMP REPLACED NOW WHEN I PUT MY KEY IN IGNITION IT WONT MOVE TO START on 2000 Chevrolet S10

BEFORE I REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP I HAD NO PROBLEM WHEN I PUT MY KEY IN MY IGNITION TO START THE TRUCK. NOW WHEN I PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION IT WONT TURN UNLESS I STRUGGLE WITH THE KEY FOR AWHILE THEN IT STARTS. WHAT DID THE REPAIRMAN DO WRONG THAT HAS CAUSED THIS PROBLEM?

The ignition lock has nothing to do with the fuel pump, could be just the lock cylinder itself is going bad..
