I like their friendliness and they give off the impression they can be trusted. I really liked that the mechanic (Greg) took me back to the shop and showed me what was a problem, when something else might be a problem, and explained what all of it is affected or how it will be impacted. Their estimating is poor: they believe a 10% increase in actual cost increase over the quote is acceptable; obviously their statement that they 'know' this car is inaccurate, especially obvious since they apparently quoted me for the wrong engine size (v6 vs v8); I'm also a bit disappointed they believe a $50 battery install fee is appropriate, as all is needed is the removal of the terminals, pull out, put in, and reconnect terminals - I figured I'd save myself 5 minutes and let them do it since I would be purchasing it from them anyways. Their timeliness is poor: it took them 8 days to complete a 2 day job - I was put on the backburner because I was going to be out of town for 3 days; however, that doesn't mean don't work on it because stuff comes up; I understand they were down one mechanic and I can understand an extra day or so but a week is not acceptable. I don't know that I trust the quality of their work and/or parts used: I have had issues with two (control arm bushings and oil gasket cover) of four items they addressed within 1.5 years/10k miles. They offer to look at it; however, it is inconvenient since I don't live in the area anymore (despite 3 other mechanics suggesting the parts are bad they won't take their word). Overall, I like who they are as people. I (and my family/friends) are not going back.
