Usually grinding is caused by the friction material of the brake pad has completely worn out and grinding the brake rotor and both will probably need replacement, You can get those estimates here https://repairpal.com/estimator?car_type_id=7131 and locate a shop near you here https://repairpal.com/directory?address=12180&car_brand_names=Suzuki

This sounds like the brakes are metal to metal, so haven them inspected, ASAP, as this is a safety issue!! Can't say how much until we know what is worn out.
