  I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I trust them completely. They are very honest, they don't try to get me to fix more than what really needs to be fix.

  I was quoted a price of $240.00 for replacing two exhaust manifold gaskets. He called me after starting the repair saying that he was going to have to take off the A/C compresser to access the gaskets and that was going to bring the total to $310.00. After getting the truck back I found the A/c untouched and the lines all in tact. I asked about it and he said I could leave the truck there or pay for the extra. Also they claimed that to replace the bolts was going to be an extra 99 dollars. When doing any exhaust manifold gasket it is common practice to replace the bolts and, should have been quoted in the original estimate. The out the door price was 409.00. The labor is suppose to be 2 hours and the parts (including bolts)should have been $25.00. How he got $409 is beyond me. If you are looking for a typical run around mechanic shop this place is for you. If you are looking an honest repair shop DO NOT come to Greg's.

  His diagnosis as to what was needed was wrong. we kept in tough with him for updates throughout the process. Phone estimates are just that: estimates. He failed to understand that.

  I was in El Cajon and had a problem with my Pathfinder. I found Greg's Automotive. They were able to work me into the shop where they found and fixed the real problem my car was having. If you want fast, friendly and honest service this is the place to go. Thanks Greg.

  Everytime I go in, they know my name and are very friendly. I get great service and know that I am not getting ripped off because I am a woman. I even have had to wait with my twin boys and they just smiled and enjoyed them, not an easy feat.
